More awards for M.L.M.S. twirlers

The Maude Laird Middle School twirlers recently attended the East Texas Regional competition sponsored by MA Dance/Marching Auxiliaries in Tyler. They received a superior rating on both of their 1 and 2 baton routines. This double first place win brought them home with medals and two team trophies that will be in the MLMS band hall. Their Choreographer and Instructor, Blair Maxwell, was awarded two plaques for best twirling choreography. Soloist, Morgan Corgin, won 3rd runner up, also bringing home a trophy.

These girls have been invited to perform in the Kilgore Hi- Stepper Spring Show that is on April 19. The MLMS twirlers will be hosting their own Spring Show on May 10 at 2:00 p.m. in the MLMS gym.
