If you plan on attending a Kilgore High School sporting event over the next couple of days, make some calls, talk to a player because of potential weather things are changing by the minute.

The soccer game scheduled for today at 5:30 p.m. for JV and 7 p.m. may be cancelled because of weather. If they play, varsity might play at 4 p.m. with the JV to (maybe) follow.

Tomorrow's games, the Lady Bulldog varsity soccer team is scheduled to play at 5 p.m. with the boys varsity soccer team to follow at 7 p.m.

Also the Lady Bulldog softball team is scheduled to play tomorrow, the JV squad is scheduled to take the field at 4:30 p.m. with the varsity to follow.

Don't forget to get those tickets to Boom the Musical which will be held tomorrow night and Satuday in the Kilgore High School Auditorium. The Friday night perfomance is a dress rehearsal and

will start at 7:30 p.m., on Saturday there will be two performances, one at 2 p.m. and the other at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the door, Texas Bank and Trust in Longview and Kilgore National Bank.

Next week is National Public Schools Week and Jody Sanders, principal at Maude Laird Middle School has two days set up for parents and grandparents to come eat lunch with their students. On Monday is parents day with all parents invited to come eat lunch with their son or daughter, Wednesday is grandparents day to come eat lunch and on Tuesday the Kilgore Independent School District's board of trustees will be coming to eat lunch with the students.
