VIRGINIA M. BYNUM

Services for Virginia M. Bynum, 79, Overton, are scheduled for 10:00 am, Friday, March 7, at the Crosspointe Fellowship Church, Kilgore, with the Reverends Mike Waddle and Bill Widner officiating. Burial will be in the Overton City Cemetery under the direction of Cottle- Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.

Mrs. Bynum died Tuesday, March 4, at her residence. She was born October 22, 1928, in Hanover, Pennsylvania to the late George Ignacious Wierman and Virginia Bell Moessinger Wierman. She had been a resident of Overton for the past 55 years.

Mrs. Bynum was a housewife and was a member of the Crosspointe Fellowship Church, Kilgore.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Mark Bynum, August 12, 1993 and by a brother, Sam Wierman.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Martha Bynum and Thomas Wayne Bynum, all of Marshall, Jerry and Mary Bynum, Kilgore, James Edward and Tina Bynum, Hughes Springs, Mike and Julie Bynum, Arp and Paul Allen and Sasha Bynum, all of Arp; daughters and sons-in-law, Candace Ann and Paul Vanover, Red Springs, Joyce and Charles Lester, Hope, Arkansas, Tina Marie and Link Lingenfelter, Magnolia, Arkansas, and Laura and Scott Lambert, Holly Lake; her former husband, S.T. Bynum, Kilgore; two sisters, Peggy Clark, West Helena, Arkansas and Allene Ramsey, Helena, Arkansas; 28 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sons and Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Thursday, March 6.
