THE GREAT TURNIP MUSICAL

The Oversized, Overripe Turnip, a musical directed by Vickie Shipp, music teacher at Kilgore Heights Elementary School was performed last night before a full house. The classes of Sue Bennett, Jodi Griffin and Denise Jones made up the performers, with individual parts played by (left photo left to right) Wanya McIntyre as the farmer, Leticia Vallejo as Brown Squirrel, Dani Harmonson as Red Fox, Maci Hatcher as Grey Wolf, Dani Grace Gallant as Great Lion and Tyler Herndon as Brown Bear. (right photo)Cameron Keel as Tiny Mouse, who was the last bit of strength needed to get the Great Turnip out of the ground. The program was narrated by Jodi Griffin and Braden Edmondson passed out programs. Duane Deen is the principal at Kilgore Heights.
