Boom rehearsal performance Friday The public is invited to a rehearsal performance of Boom on Friday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for Friday night are $5 and will be available only at the door. Tickets for Saturday performances are $10 and will be available through Friday at Kilgore National Bank-Kilgore and Texas Bank and Trust in downtown Longview. The Saturday tickets also will be available at the door one hour prior to performances. Saturday performances of the play about boom days in the East Texas oil field are at 2:30 and 7 p.m. at Kilgore High School audtiorium. Lottie Guttry is a native of Kilgore and taught at Kilgore College. The cast and crew are volunteers from the community. The script features both fictional and real characters who were in Kilgore in 1930-31. |
