CHARLIE W. MCGREGOR, JR.

Services for Mr. Charlie W. McGregor, Jr., 42, of Kilgore will be held at Forest Home Baptist Church at 10 O'clock in the morning on Monday, March 3, 2008 with the Reverend Buddy Duggins officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Cemetery. Mr. Mc- Gregor passed away Thursday, February 28, 2008 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Charlie was born in Kilgore, Texas to Charles and Lois McGregor on August 16, 1965. He attended Kilgore schools. He went to work for Mericom Corporation building cell phone towers. In 2004, he and his wife, Kathy, started McGregor Transport. Charlie was an avid outdoorsman, who loved the out of doors. He loved his children. He also loved to hunt and fish, water skiing and tubing. He enjoyed his fourwheeler and loved to climb trees with it. He loved his dogs. Charlie especially enjoyed his family and all of the family gatherings. Charlie was always one to help others. All you had to do was ask and he was there for you. Charlie was truly loved by his family and will be missed by all who knew him.

Mr. McGregor is survived by his wife Kathy, a son and daughter, Jesse and Michelle of Kilgore; a stepson and daughter-in-law David and Christi Cross; a grandson, Aiden Cross; his father and step-mother, Charlie and Diane McGregor of Longview; his mother, Lois McGregor of Yantis; grandmothers, Novell McGregor of Troup and Marjorie Smith of Kilgore; two sisters, Lisa Cook and Charla Simmons and her husband Larry; sisters-in-law, Michele Murphy and husband Freddy Murphy of Allred, Tn.; three brothers-inlaw and their wives, Charles and Lisa Cross of Monterry, Tn. and Ted and Shirley Cross of Livingston, Tn. And James Cross; his nieces and nephews, Jamie Tucker, Marshall and Amanda Tucker, Shawn Cross, Amber McCallister, Megan Schitoskey, Mallory Cook, James Murphy and Jody Steward.

Both of his grandfathers, Wesley McGregor and Elmer Scaggs; and a sister-in-law, Marianne Cross preceded him in death,

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
