KEDC to discuss lease and Alcoa CSI items

A called meeting of Kilgore Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors will call for the possible termination of a lease with Kennedy Gourmet and consider discussion with possible action on items associated with Alcoa CSI.

Alcoa discussions include recommendations on the assignment of agreements between KEDC and Alcoa, CSI to new owners, including an economic development agreement and a tax abatement agreement.

In other business the board is slated to enter executive session for discussion of economic development negotiations with two prospects.

KEDC Board of Directors meet 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 4 at Kilgore City Hall in Council Chambers.
