MONDAY
THE KILGORE HIGH SCHOOL FFA BOOSTER CLUB will meet Monday March 3 at 7 p.m. at the KHS Ag Building. Hope to see you there.

TUESDAY
EAST TEXAS CHRISTIAN SCHOOL will host an open house on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  At 6:30 a program will be presented in the auditorium. Come meet the teachers. For information call (903) 757-7891 or visit their web site.

MEMBER OF THE BOOK DISCUSSION GROUP will meet 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, at the Kilgore Public Library. This group meets monthly to discuss both fiction and non-fiction. New members are always welcomed.

SATURDAY
KIDS OF ZION'S 1ST ANNUAL HALLELUJAH HUNT 1. the hallelujah hunt... in addition to the date, time, and place, hopefully you open to all FREE for all Baskets full of kingdom joy for every girl and every boy (sponsors needed) Essay Contests and submission deadline, which is wednesday of next week "I Know Jesus Is Alive Because" - age 5-7 "What Would Jesus Say About Human Traffiking" - age 8-12 1st Prize - $75, 2nd Prize $50, 3rd Prize $25

I STOP VIOLENCE - MOMENT OF AWARENESS 1. and for the purpose of bringing awareness to the issue of children being traffiked, there will be a table with literature and candles available for those who wish to light a candle for country of their choice.

THE EAST TEXAS GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY will hold its regular monthly meeting on Saturday, March 8, at 2 p.m. at the Tyler Public Library in the Taylor Auditorium. The featured speaker will be Debbie Parker Wayne. Wayne, a professional genealogist, will present a progra  titled “Using the U.S. BLM-GLO Web Site to Find Land Records.”

THE KILGORE HIGH SCHOOL HI-STEPPER DANCE CAMP will be held on Saturday, March 8 from 9 a.m. to noon in Kilgore High School Gym. Anyone, kindergarten through 8th grade can sign up at a cost of $20 per person. A camp T-shirt and snack are included in the price.

SUNDAY
THE ALLEN FAMILY will be at Victory Road Baptist Church, March 9 at the 11 a.m. service. This will be their third year at Victory Road doing the morning service. The public is invited, a love offering will be taken. The church is located on the corner of Hwy 135 and Goforth. For more information call 903-984-7509.

SPRING REVIVAL AT MT. PLEASANT EME CHURCH, Wed., March 5 through Fri. March 7 at 7 p.m. Guest speakers will be, Rev. Patricia Fuller, Minister George Holland, and Rev. Lafayett Herndon. Rev. Travix Stinson is the Pastor.

THE KILGORE POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS, along with the Kilgore Municiple Courts will be hosting Celebrate, Remember, Fight Back in Kilgore City Park, March 8. This is a fund raiser for Relay for Life. There will be activities and demonstrations by the fire and police departments from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Food will also be available. Buy tickets at the park.
