MOZELLE PHILLIPS

Vera Mozelle Phillips, age 82, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008 at Eastland Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were 10AM on Friday, Feb. 29, 2008 at Victory Assembly Church. Interment followed at Oakwood Cemetery with Sister Thelma Hostetter officiating and under the direction of the Summers Chambers Funeral Home in Cisco.

Mozelle Phillips was born on March 29, 1925 in Cisco to Oliver Holloway Phillips and Vera Ann (Parmer) Phillips. She was a bookkeeper by trade having worked at Thornton Feed Mill for over 50 years.

Mozelle was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Drusilla Stillwell, and her brothers, Leo Phillips and Woodrow Phillips.

Ms. Phillips is survived by her sister-in-law Wanda Phillips, her 13 nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren.
