I STOP VIOLENCE - MOMENT OF AWARENESS 1. and for the purpose of bringing awareness to the issue of children being traffiked, there will be a table with literature and candles available for those who wish to light a candle for country of their choice.

THE EAST TEXAS GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY will hold its regular monthly meeting on Saturday, March 8, at 2 p.m. at the Tyler Public Library in the Taylor Auditorium. The featured speaker will be Debbie Parker Wayne. Wayne, a professional genealogist, will present a program titled "Using the U.S. BLM-GLO Web Site to Find Land Records."

THE KILGORE HIGH SCHOOL HISTEPPER DANCE CAMP will be held on Saturday, March 8 from 9 a.m. to noon in Kilgore High School Gym. Anyone, kindergarten through 8th grade can sign up at a cost of $20 per person. A camp T-shirt and snack are included in the price.

HEARING LOSS ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA, LONGVIEW CHAPTER, will meet Saturday, March 1, 10:30 a.m., Wesley-McCabe United Methodist Church, 1115 S. Mobberly, Longview. Program will be "Legal Rights," presented by Melissa Bell, Region IV specialist for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services. Live captioning and assistive listening devices will be available.

SUNDAY

THE ALLEN FAMILY will be at Victory Road Baptist Church, March 9 at the 11 a.m. service. This will be their third year at Victory Road doing the morning service. The public is invited, a love offering will be taken. The church is located on the corner of Hwy 135 and Goforth. For more information call 903-984-7509.

THE KILGORE POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS, along with the Kilgore Municiple Courts will be hosting Celebrate, Remember, Fight Back in Kilgore City Park, March 8. This is a fund raiser for Relay for Life. There will be activities and demonstrations by the fire and police departments from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Food will also be available. Buy tickets at the park.
