HAZEL DELL BARTON BOWERMAN

Hazel Dell Barton Bowerman was born August 16, 1916 to Alvin and Orpha Barton. She came to Kilgore from Oklahoma as a young girl. Here she met and married R. H. Bowerman. Mrs. Bowerman devoted her life to her home, her family, and her church. She passed from this life Tuesday, February 26, 2008, at the age of 91.

Mrs. Bowerman was preceded in death by her husband, Bud; an infant daughter, Beth; a son, Buddy; a stepdaughter, Juanita Wood; four brothers, Gene, Alvin, Woodrow, and Sam Barton; two sisters, Clara Sanford and Reba Mitchell. She is survived by two daughters, Martha Wright and husband Jimmy, and Glenda Moeller, both of Kilgore; a very special sister, Mabel Clark; four grandchildren and their spouses, Lisa and Raymond Allen, Steve and Jill Wright, Laci Stuckey and Leslie and Jason Galloway; ten greatgrandchildren, Tara Babb, Brooke Babb, Raegan Babb, Dusty Allen, Andrew Stuckey, Sydney Stuckey, Ali Wright, Ashlyn Wright, Amber Wright, and Pfeiffer Galloway; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Graveside services will be conducted at 4PM, Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Kilgore City Cemetery with Reverend Earl W. "Buddy" Duggins, pastor of Forest Home Baptist Church, where Mrs. Bowerman was a faithful member. Graveside services under the direction of Rader Funeral Home, Kilgore.
