MOZELLE PHILLIPS

Vera Mozelle Phillips, age 82, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at Eastland Memorial Hospital. Funeral services are at 10AM on Friday, February 29, 2008 at Victory Assembly Church. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery with Sister Thelma Hostetter officiating and under the direction of the Summers- Chambers Funeral Home in Cisco. The family will receive visitors Thursday night from 6-8pm at the funeral home.

Mozelle Phillips was born on March 29, 1925 in Cisco to Oliver Holloway Phillips and Vera Ann (Parmer) Phillips. She was a bookkeeper by trade having worked at Thornton Feed Mill for over 50 years.

Mozelle was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Drusilla Stillwell, and her brothers, Leo Phillips and Woodrow Phillips.

Ms. Phillips is survived by her sister-in-law Wanda Phillips, her 13 nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren.
