SATURDAY THE KILGORE HIGH SCHOOL HI-STEPPER DANCE CAMP will be held on Saturday, March 8 from 9 a.m. to noon in Kilgore High School Gym. Anyone, kindergarten through 8th grade can sign up at a cost of $20 per person. A camp T-shirt and snack are included in the price. HEARING LOSS ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA, LONGVIEW CHAPTER, will meet Saturday, March 1, 10:30 a.m., Wesley-McCabe United Methodist Church, 1115 S. Mobberly, Longview. Program will be "Legal Rights," presented by Melissa Bell, Region IV specialist for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services. Live captioning and assistive listening devices will be available. SUNDAY CHANDLER STREET CHURCH OF CHRIST invites you to attend a Homecoming in celebration of their 30th Anniversary. FYI MORE THAN 50 CLASSIC, NEW MODEL AND DEALERSHIP CARS will be on display at the 32nd Annual LeTourneau University Automotive Society Car Show Saturday and Sunday, March 1 and 2, at the Maude Cobb Exhibition Hall, 100 Grand Blvd. in Longview. Doors open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are available at the door for $5 per person, or $2 for students with student identification. Children under 12 get in free. Proceeds benefit LeTourneau University spring break mission trips. A FREE hot lunch will be served each Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Parish Fellowship Hall across from the Kilgore College Parks Fitness Center. Catholic students are invited to make CTK their "home away from home" parish. The auxiliary sells the books for 25 cents and transfers the money to a fund which helps buy medicine for indigent or needy patients at the hospital and scholorships for nursing students. Please take new or nicely-used paperbacks to the auxiliary desk in the lobby at the hospital. |
