KATHY G. JEFFIS

Kathy G. Jeffis, age 59 of Deport died on Thursday, February 21, 2008 in the Deport Nursing Home as the result from Complications of Multiple Sclerosis. Graveside Services are scheduled for 4pm on Saturday, February 23, 2008 in Highland Cemetery of Deport with Reverend Steven Price officiating.

She was born in Kilgore on December 3, 1948, the daughter of Gene and Ima Jean Gordon. She married Marty Jeffus on January 12, 1973 in Kilgore, Texas. He survives her today, as does her children, Jeannie Jeffus and husband, Jeff Garner of Longview, Jennifer Jeffus of Deport, Justin Jeffus and Erin of Rockwall and Jimmy Jeffus and Melanie of Lake Jackson; parents, Gene Gordon of Pryor, Oklahoma and Ima Jean Gordon of Kilgore; brother, Wayne Gossage and wife, Charlotte and their family all of Kilgore; an aunt, Mada Gorkse of Kilgore; 5 grandchildren, Hannah, Jace, Jenna, Ani, and Jackson.
