WILSON BASS
He was born December 27, 1925 in Kilgore to Harvey and Mildred Bamberg Bass. He was a self-employed auto parts dealer, and during World War II he served out country from March 10, 1944 until May 5, 1946 at a Radioman 3rd Class on the USS Willoughby in the South Pacific Theatre. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Lenny Mobbs of Longview, daughter-in-law Sue Bass, grandchildren, Brandon Mobbs, Kriston Mobbs, Shane Bass, Micki Boo and Chad Boo, brother and sister-in-law, William (Bill) Bass and wife Barbara of Kilgore, nieces and nephews, Javan Johnson, Mark Bass, Sharon Tuel and Sharla Percell, as well as a very specialf riend, Willie Hollis. Mr Bass is preceded in death by his parents and by his wife Betty Lou Bass, daughter, Vickie Lynn Bass, son Sonny Bass and sister Reba McKee. Visitation will be a Rader Funeral Home Sunday, February 24, 2008 from 2-4 p.m. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association and American Cancer Society.
