XI PI MU ENJOYS SOCIAL EVENTS

Sherry Lockman entertained her fellow Xi Pi Mu sisters and their husbands with a party "Songs of the Scaryhood." Cohostesses were Lora Black, Cissy Covnet, an Pat Morchat. Member and guests enjoyed soup, fingers (smoky sausages), corn relish dip, spider sandwiches, and witches' brew. A carnival consisted of Shoot Out the Pumpkin Candle, Go Fish, Ring the bottle, Spider Toss, and Cake Walk. Winners of the costume contest were Pat and Art Morchat.

The "men of Xi Pi Mu" hosted a party for the women so they could all enjoy the chili cook-off. The members of Xi Pi Mu, as always, are grateful for and impressed by the men's social skills.

Peggy Bowne was hostess for the Xi Pi Mu Christmas party at Fritz Restaurant in Longview. Lsha and Bill Stanley co-hosted and welcomed the group for cocktails before the dinner. Members enjoyed a meal of Mediterranean tilapia, ribeye, filet, or chicken parmesan, plus dessert.

A favorite social for all the Xi Pi Mu members and their spouses is the annual Super Bowl party. This year, the event was hosted by Vicki Clayton and Lou Ann Morse. Members met at the Morse home in Greenwood Ranch and enjoyed great "Super Bowl food" as well as the game.
