XI PI MU HONORS SWEETHEART PAT MORCHAT

Deb's Downtown Cafe in Longview was the scene of a dinner honoring this year's sweetheart, Pat Morchat. Members enjoyed chicken, asparagus, rice and either strawberry or chocolate cake for dessert. Valentine gifts were exchanged among the secret sisters. Darlene Bingham and Alice Lowery were hostesses for the event. In lieu of gifts to the sweetheart, Pat requested donations to Helping Hands.

After the dinner, President Vicki Clayton called the meeting to order, and read the Treasurer's report in the absence of Lora Black. Members were informed by Alice Lowery of the Ladies Trip scheduled for March 6-8. The men will be going to Hackbury, Louisiana on a fishing trip. Members were encouraged to attend the Sweetheart Tea honoring all Beta Sigma Phi Sweethearts on Sunday, February 10. Members present were Deedy Adams, Darlene Bingham, Peggy Bowne, Vicki Clayton, Gail Hargrave, Roseanne Howell, Martha Lee, Sherry Lockman, Alice Lowery, Kirsti McBride, Debbie McCubbin, Pat Morchat, Lou Ann Morse, Debbie Phillips, Deann Pickard, Polly Richardson, Jadean Roberts, and Lsha Stanley.
