Radio time at the Lions

      Kilgore Lions Club last week heard all about the radio business at KZQX. Chuck Conrad, station owner, said getting the station up and running has been an eightyear adventure. Conrad returned to his East Texas roots after spending most of his career in Dallas doing live sound productions.

      The Kilgore Police Department, Kilgore Fire Department and Kilgore Municipal Courts are hosting an event for The American Cancer Society Relay for Life. Angela Burch, Kilgore police officer, said the event on March 8 - called Celebrate, Remember, Fight Back - will be for the entire community.
