ANNUAL GREGG HOME FUNDRAISER DOES WELL

The Gregg Home for the Aged held their annual Valentine's Day benefit Tuesday night. Joan Herrington, activities director, said local businesses and individuals who participated in the auction raised $2689.95 was raised for the home. The money is used for trips, cook-outs and activities at the Gregg Home. This is the twelfth year for the benefit and Herrington said they seem to do a little better each year. Bill Watson, owner of Watson's Auction services across the street from the Gregg Home, volunteered to be the auctioneer,
