R. MILLS GRIFFIN

Services for Mr. R. Mills Griffin, 87, of Kilgore will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 16, 2008 at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Kilgore with Chaplain Wayne McKay officiating. Interment will follow at Danville Cemetery. Mr. Griffin passed away Thursday, February 14, 2008 in Kilgore.

Mr. Griffin was born August 31, 1920 in Kilgore to the late Leon and Spark Griffin. He was a partner in the Griffin Dickson Construction Company. Mr. Griffin was in the United States Navy during World War II.

Mr. Griffin is survived by his wife Wanda Griffin of Kilgore; two sons, Bob Griffin of Kilgore and Michael and wife Ann Griffin of Dallas; four grandchildren; sister-in-law Margaret Griffin of Kilgore; two step children; two nieces; two nephews as well as numerous cousins and other loving family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore Saturday, February 16, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m; one hour prior to service time.

Memorials can be made to Legacy Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
