Donations needed to benefit Gregg Home for the Aged

It is once again time for the annual benefit bingo at the Gregg Home for the Aged.

Joan Herrington, activities director for the home, said they need a helping hand again this year, after last years auction raised $2600.

Herrington said there are several ways to help: donate money to the activity fund, donate new or used items and crafts for the auction, baked goods, donate gift certificates for meals or gifts, donate services such as oil changes, hair cuts, etc. and by attending the auction. Buying a ticket and playing games makes you eligible for prizes.

She said supporters are appreciated and are acknowledged at the auction.

The benefit is scheduled for Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Gregg Home located at 144 Hwy. 1252 W., Kilgore.
