DOYLE GENE WALLACE

Services for Mr. Doyle Gene Wallace, 67, of Longview will be held 10 A.M. Friday, February 15, 2008 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore with Reverend David Hampton officiating. Burial will follow in the Kilgore Cemetery.

Mr. Wallace passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2008 in Longview. He was born June 15, 1940 in Gilmer, son of the late James Howard and Wilma Wallace. Doyle retired as manager of Eckerd Drug after 25 years, 20 of those years in the Kilgore store. Mr. Wallace enjoyed classic cars, tractors and working in his garden.

Doyle is survived by his daughters, Andrea Williams of Sulphur Springs and Delann Thompson and husband Kenny of Mount Pleasant; sister, Betty Gay Ray and husband Mike of Gilmer; special friend Zara Tanner of Longview; five grandchildren and one niece.
