HERMAN LEE "HONEY" DUNCAN

Services for Mr., Herman Lee "Honey" Duncan, 81, of Kilgore will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 14, 2008 at the Forest Home Baptist Church in Kilgore with the Reverends Earl W. "Buddy" Duggins and Jonathan Latham officiating. Interment will follow at Kilgore Cemetery. Mr. Duncan passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at his home in Kilgore.

Mr. Duncan was born December 23, 1926 in Rusk County, Texas to the late William and Elsie Duncan. He was a longtime member of the Forest Home Baptist Church. Mr. Duncan worked as an Electrician for 13 years for LeTourneau University prior to retiring from Texas Eastman in the Mechanical Maintence Dept for 27 years. He was a Lifetime member of the National Rifleman's Association. Mr. Duncan enjoyed Hunting, Fishing, Gunsmithing and was considered a Jack-of-all-Trades. Mr. Duncan was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Mr. Duncan leaves behind many loving family and friends.

Mr. Duncan is survived by his wife of 62 years Eloise Duncan of Kilgore; daughter and son-in-law Becky Lee and Frank Stephenson of Crowley; five grandchildren Jenifer Lyn Jameson, Crystal Ann Duncan, Amy Dawn Stephenson Houghton, David Sebastian Duncan and Donovan Richard Duncan; eight great grandchildren Jordan Taylor Jameson, Joshua Bailey Morgan, Trevor Wayne Duncan, Abigail Jayne Elizabeth Windsor, Brett Hunter Houghton, Brendan Kade Kersh, Caleb Stephenson Duncan and Carter Reid Houghton; nephew, Bill Duncan and wife Gloria; niece, Deborah Clemmons; numerous cousins and other loving family and friends.

He is preceded in death by one son Steve Duncan who passed away in 1999, two sisters Pauline Robinson Meyers and Patricia Ann Duncan and one brother William "Buck" Duncan.

The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore Wednesday evening, February 13, 2008 from six-thirty until eight-thirty.
