Leverett's Chapel celebrate 100 days of classes

January 30th was the 100th day of school at Leverett's Chapel elementary and the Kindergarten class celebrated in a big way! Teacher, Jayna Morton, started the day with a super scavenger hunt for 100 numbered stickers. Then students completed activities that involved the number 100, including a 100 step walk, a 100 dot-to-dot, and make-n-take book about the number 100. Every 100 minutes, several students visited the treasure chest, until everyone had a turn. In preparation, Kindergarten students worked with their parents to create a project out of 100 things. The projects were put on display in the main hallway. Pictured from left to right are: Omar Gauna with his 100 toys project, Dez'erai Allred-Hunter modeling her 100 pompom belt, and Dawson Blair showing off 100 buttons!
