Sabine ISD board looks at state funding Sabine Independent School District trustees meets 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11 in the board room at the Sabine Administration Building for open forum followed by updates and information, the consent agenda, discussion and action items, then an executive session. Information items include campus news, TAGT Region VII Parent of the Year, Vision 6 Grant and a financial update on state funding. Consent agenda items include January tax collections, investment portfolio, 20 percent local homestead exemption, $5,000 local exemption for senior citizens, $15,000 local exemption for the disables and a routine budget amendment. Discussion and action items include 2007-2008 district improvement plan, proxy vote for Liberty City Water Supply Corp.'s annual meeting, TASB localized update, security audit and goal setting. Closed session includes discussion of real estate and administrator contracts. |
