I had the opportunity this week to visit with some talented young men and their instructor at KHS.

The ITC (Industrial Cooperative Training) class was represented by six in a regional contest and all six received accolades and awards.

I must go back now and add to the story that ran in Thursday's paper.

Kevin Wilson, an ITC stand-out student, won first place and was a blueribbon qualifier, for his manual lathe skills.

"Kevin did a remarkable job," Don Hedrick, ITC instructor, said.

Last night at the chamber banquet, Virginia Wallace, of Evergreen Garden Club and wife of Claud "with no E" Wallace, to me the annual rose show has been scheduled for April 3 out at A.P. and Susie Merritt's home. I will search around for more details as the event gets closer.

Blood," should pay particular attention to the scenery and stay for the credits, because the film credits Kilgore and the East Texas Oil Museum.

Amanda Nobles, of KEDC, said the set looks just like Kilgore in the 30s.

The film is about disputes between oil boom big-wigs, church groups land owners.
