ESTELLE TIPTON

Graveside services for Estelle Tipton, 91, of Mesquite, formerly of Gladewater will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008, at Gladewater Memorial Park in Gladewater with Rev. Brian Nutt officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Mrs. Tipton passed away on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008 in Mesquite.

She was born on Nov. 10, 1916, to Maxfield and Maggie Rose Gross Williams in Leon County. She was a homemaker and a member of Assembly of God Church in Kilgore.

She is survived by her son and daughter -in-law, Wayne and Thelma Sherrod of Mesquite; daughter-in-law, Camille Sherrod of Liberty City; sister, Vere Mae Haralson of Kilgore; 10 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and numerous greatgreat grandchildren.
