DRANNON R. MOORE

Funeral services for Drannon R. Moore, 92, New London, are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 3, at the Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home chapel, with the Reverend Johnny Wright and Reverend Atwell Hankins officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery near New London under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.

Mr. Moore died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008 in New London. He was born January 23, 1916 in Flomont to the late Llewellyn Mayfield and Mary Elizabeth Clary Moore. He married Edna I. Moore October 26, 194. He retired in 1991 as a self employed Contractor. He had worked with the bus ministry at the First Baptist Church in New London and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Overton.

Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his wife Edna I. Moore; a son and daughterin law, Harrison Leon and Jean Moore; a granddaughter, Toni Collete Moore; three brothers, Lee Marvin Moore, Carl Harrison Moore, and Calvin Moore; a sister, Allie Mae Monroe.

Survivors include, a daughter and son-in -law, Carolyn Sue and Jerome Walters, New London; a son, Danny Ray Moore, New London; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
