Sholar and Villareal announce engagement

James W. (J.W.) Sholar and Lucy Villareal

Announcing the engagement of Lucy Villareal to Petty Officer James (J.W.) W. Sholar.

The bride is the daughter of Mr & Mrs. Paulin Villareal of Kilgore. The groom is the son of the late Darrell (Bud) Sholar and Alice M. Sholar of Hallsville.

Lucy and J.W. are both 2006 graduates of Kilgore High School. J.W. is currently serving in the US Navy aboard the USS Thach in San Diego, California.

Lucy and J.W. will exchange vows May 16, 2009. The wedding will be officiated by Pastor Don Beebe of Grace Baptist in Kilgore after J.W.'s Middle East deployment this year.
