DAILY DIGEST MONDAY KILGORE TOGETHER MEMBERS will meet Monday, January 28 at 5:30 p.m. in the Family Center at St. Luke's United methodist Church. THURSDAY "QUICKBOOKS FOR BUSINESS OWNERS AND MANAGERS" (LEVELS 1 and 2) will be offered in February and March by Kilgore College Small Business Development Center. SATURDAY THE EAST TEXAS GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY will commemorate Black History Month on Saturday, February 9, 2 p.m. at its meeting in the Taylor Auditorium at Tyler Public Library, 201 S. College Ave. The program, titled "Researching African American Ancestry" will be presented by Karen J. Matheson. Following refreshments at 3:30 p.m., the ETGS Computer Interest Group will meet. Scott Fitzgerald and Larry Oliver will host a session of questions from the audience. The meeting is free and open to the public. ATWOOD'S RANCH AND HOME, WITH VOLUNTEERS FROM HUMANE SOCIETY OF NORTHEAST TEXAS, will host its company-wide pet adoption day Saturday, Feb. 9 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. With each animal adopted, Atwood's will give away $100 worth of coupons and samples and Hill's Pet nutrition will provide a free bag of Science Digest pet food. SATURDAY HEARING LOSS ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA meeting Saturday February 2, 10:30 AM at the Wesley McCabe United Methodist Church, 1115 S Mobberly, Longview. Celebrating our chapter's 13th Anniversary, program will be "Goals for Our Group: Past - Present- Future." Captioning and assistive devices will be available. Cake and punch will be served.
