Date set to intall new officers for Council of Garden Clubs
      On January 11, 2008, the regular meeting of Kilgore Area Council of Garden Clubs was held at the home of Sharon Ragle with Peggy Bowne, President, presiding. A delicious arrangement of goodies was served prior to general business discussions.

      I thought I lived in town, but looking out my sliding glass doors today, I saw a beautiful doe with twin babies dashing across my backyard. Perhaps she is the culprit that ate all the leaves off my hibiscus plants (which is a delicacy for deer) this past summer.
