CARLTON RAY LLOYD, SR.

Funeral services for Carlton Ray Lloyd, Sr., 86 of Fort Worth, former longtime resident of Kilgore, will be Saturday, January 26, 2008, at 11AM in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home. Rev. Mark Hendrick will officiate. Interment will follow at Rusk County Memorial Gardens. Mr. Lloyd died Thursday in Ft. Worth.

Carlton Ray Lloyd, Sr. was born on May 31, 1921, in Jacksonville, Texas to the late G.C. and Ora Davis Lloyd. He attended the New Hope Schools, near Jacksonville. Mr. Lloyd Retired from Dowell Chemical Company after over 25 years of service and was a Mason.

He was a member of The First Church of the Nazarene in Kilgore.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Nell Liles Lloyd, two daughters and sons in law, Linda and Danna Dyess of Bryan, Carol and David Sullivan of Ft. Worth, one son and his wife, Carlton, Jr. and Joann Lloyd, Seven grandchildren, Danna Dyess, Jr., Christie Lynne Dyess, Cory Dyess, all of Bryan, Diane Woodward of Newnan, GA, Angela Garza of Ft. Worth, Anthony Lloyd, and Justin Lloyd. Other survivors include ten great grandchildren, one brother and sister in law, Leon and Frieda Lloyd of Jacksonville and three nephews.

Visitation will be six to seven thirty, Friday, January 25, 2008 at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene in Kilgore.
