Minserco's facility towers over industrial park

News Herald Photo by Lester Murray The North Kilgore Industrial Park is growing as the giant of a building, Minserco Inc. rises above the rest of the park. Minserco's building is undergoing concrete work and steel at this time. Minserco will build OEM parts for mining machines.

Minserco's 60,000-squarefoot facility, with a 119,000 square foot slab, is taking shape in North Kilgore Industrial Park.

Employment at the facility is expected to expand to more than 75 people within the next five years..

Demand for Minserco's services and support products in the East Texas region has steadily increased since operations began there in the late-1980's. This new facility will allow Minserco to continue to expand its tradition of providing high quality mining services to the East Texas region and beyond.

An economic development agreement with the Kilgore Economic Development Corporation (KEDC) supports Minserco's new construction by providing development incentives to Minserco.

Bill Adamson, president of the KEDC board of directors, said, "Having Minserco in Kilgore is just another example of how economic development incentives can create a win-win situation for new and existing businesses and for our local citizens as well. Minserco's upcoming capital investment and job creation will forge the kind of strong economic bond that strengthens the future for everyone in our community.
