Pizza Hut driver robbed

Gregg County Sheriff 's Office investigators are investigating the robbery of a Pizza Hut delivery driver near Kilgore last night. Deputies received a call from the Kilgore Pizza Hut after a delivery driver reported she was robbed by an armed gunman.

Deputies interviewed the victim who reported she was delivering a called-in pizza order to an address near Hardy Road, west of Kilgore, at approximately 9:05 p.m., when she was approached by two men in a gray or blue four-door car. The victim believed these two were her intended customers and stopped.

The victim reported that she was robbed at gunpoint by the passenger in the car. The took an undisclosed amount of money. She told deputies she returned to Kilgore and reported the robbery from the Pizza Hut.

Deputies and local law enforcement are searching for at least one African American male and another unknown male believed to be driving the car.

Today investigators are searching the area of the robbery for leads and tracking telephone calls made to the Pizza Hut.

The victim was not injured in this robbery.
