Canada's gov general to decide government's fate
OTTAWA (AP) — Canada's prime minister is expected to ask Thursday to suspend parliament in an unprecedented effort to delay a vote that could bring down his new government less than two months after he won re-election. Prime Minister Stephen Harper said he will visit Governor General Michaelle Jean at 9:30 a.m.
