The Kilgore Historical Preservation Foundation presents its 12th annual Holiday Happenings in Historic Homes tour on Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m. The tour includes the Stroope-Thrower home at 1000 E. Houston, Walkup-Simpson home at 2036 Broadway, McCartney Crews home at 2201 Broadway, and the architecturally unique Kilgore Public Library at 301 N. Henderson.
