KHS teams lose Tuesday games at Canton, home vs. Gladewater
HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL
      Both Kilgore High School basketball teams are playing a challenging non-district schedule this year, and it continued last night, both at home and on the road. Coach Davia Garrett's Lady Bulldogs lost at Canton, 70-39, and coach Jimmy Williams' Bulldogs lost their home opener to Gladewater in overtime, 48- 45.

Sabine girls blow by Mineola
      Coach Paul Bell's Sabine High School Lady Cardinals proved Tuesday that the school's boys basketball program isn't alone: there's some very good basketball being played by both Liberty City teams. Sabine swarmed all over Mineola Tuesday night, beating MHS 50-18. Every single Sabine player scored, coach Bell said.

Little Dribblers registration Saturday
YOUTH BASKETBALL
      The Overton Little Dribblers will have registration for the 2009 youth boys and girls season this Saturday at the Overton High School gym from 2 p.m. until 4, and next Saturday, Dec. 13, at the same times, also at the gym. The fee for registration is $35 for the first child from a family; $65 for two; $95 for three; and $125 for four or more.
