JEAN ERVIN

Services for Norma Jean Ervin, 79 of White Oak will be 10 a.m. Saturday Nov. 29, 2008, at Mason Cemetery in Arp, Texas, with Rev. Barnis Stanaland officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore.

Mrs. Ervin passed away Monday, November 24, 2008, in White Oak.

Norma Jean Ervin was born on March 16, 1929, to the late Olan and Leva Mae Tubb. She worked as a telephone operator. Jean made her family her first priority, and enjoyed church activities, reading and gardening.

Survivors include her son, Larrry Wayne and Jeanne Haire of Kilgore, and daughters, Patti Haire and David Muensterman of White Oak, Pam Hall of Longview, son, Phillip and Jackie Ervin of Big Springs, Daughters, Sondra and Keith Nusko of Lindale, and Jessica Ervin and Mark Allen of Canton. Mrs. Ervin was blessed with 14 grandchildren, and 15 greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Jesse "Speedy" Ervin, her parents, Olan and Leva Tubb, and one grandson, David Belew.
