The entrance to Synergy Park on FM 349 is getting relief by a partnership from TxDot, Gregg County and the City of Kilgore. The entrance, which is used by commercial vehicles needed a turn lane, so the road is being expanded to include a turn lane to make the intersection safer. Drivers using FM 349 should use caution during construction, this section is between the 259 Loop and FM 2087. + More...

That matchup will happen Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Mesquite Memorial Stadium. It's just the second meeting ever between KHS and Ennis. And the West Rusk High School Raiders (pictured in the bottom photo coming onto the field against Hearne) take on Daingerfield in the second round of the Class 2A Division 2 playoffs.
