Kilgore High School Hi-Steppers looking for snow at the Annual Derrick Lighting Ceremony

The Kilgore High School Hi-Stepper Dance Team will perform "Let It Snow" at the Annual Derrick Lighting Ceremony on Thursday, November 20, 2008. The Dance Team is a select group of Hi-Steppers chosen during drill team tryouts in the spring. According to Hi-Stepper director Coleen Clower, "These girls are called on to perform when a small group is needed for entertainment at community events. It is nice to have a small group that can assist with choreography, learn new material quickly, execute technical dance moves, and are capable of polishing and perfecting a routine with a short amount of rehearsal time."

Members of the group this year are~ Meleah Geary, Kristi Case, Stephanie Shipp, Katy Davison, Katie Whitmer, Krista Carver, Quincy Baughman, Chelsie Borders, Carli Fussell, and Lexi Johnston.
