KC fetes area high school students as All-Region Leadership Honorees

KC honorees from Kilgore High include: first row, Callie Cunyus, Adriana Sanders, Krista Carver, Alyssa Phillips, Alex Phillips, Karina Reyes and Jessica Eaton; second row, Sami Holley, Shelby Broussard, Alyssa Mckinney, Trevar Compton, Meleah Geary and Katie Whitmer; third row, Will Mixon, Ashley Boswell, Markeycia Clark, Quincy Baughman, Cameron Clower, Kitt Sechrist and Kristi Case. Kilgore College recently congratulated area students named as 2008-09 All-Region Leadership Honorees.

This program recognizes outstanding seniors from each high school in the college's service area.

Both academic and leadership achievements are recognized. Students are selected by their counselors and teachers, and were honored with a specially commissioned medal and certificate during an awards luncheon and ceremony.

All-Region Leadership Honors luncheons will were held in October and November on the KC campus.
