CAROL GUNBY

Funeral services for Carol Gunby, 60, of Longview will be held 10 a.m. Thursday November 20, 2008, at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd., with the Reverend Dick Lindsey officiating. Interment will follow in Rosewood Park Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Gunby passed away Saturday, November 15, 2008, in Carthage.

She was born June 25, 1948, in Overton, Texas, to Jack Milburn and Colleen LyBarger Cohagen. She had lived in the East Texas area all of her life. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

She is survived by her children, Tommy Jack and Lisa Hooten of Harleton, TX; William and Cindy Hooten of Harleton, TX; Stephen and Karin Gunby of Longview, TX; Christi and Greg Modisette of White Oak, TX; Marcus and Melissa Gunby of Tatum, TX; grandchildren, Cody Gunby of Kilgore, TX; Carah Gunby of Kilgore, TX; Courtney Bryant of Tatum, TX; Christopher Bryant of Tatum, TX; Carlie Modisette of White Oak, TX; Clay Hooten of Harleton, TX; great-grandchildren, Caden Bryant, Chelsea Bryant, Phelisia Bryant, Nathan Pickett, mother and step-father, Colleen and Butch Ford of Longview, TX;

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Gunby, father Jack Cohagen, and sister, Martha Cohagen.

The Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday. November 19, 2008, from 6-8pm.
