During Friday's pep rally, KHS Principal Greg Brown presented a U.S. flag flown at the school to KPD Officer Richard Stanley, who serves as a KISD resource officer and will soon be on his way to Iraq. Oscar M. Clayton died late Tuesday morning, Nov. 11, 2008. Mr. Clayton was born Sept. 3, 1942, in Hagensport, to the parents of John and Effie Mae Clayton. Oscar, formerly of Bay City, lived in Kilgore. Mr. Clayton was preceded in death by his parents, Effie Mae Henry and John Jepsey Clayton; one brother, W.J. Clayton; and two sisters, Etter Mae and Lillian Ruth Martin. More...
