Oscar M. Clayton died late Tuesday morning, Nov. 11, 2008. Mr. Clayton was born Sept. 3, 1942, in Hagensport, to the parents of John and Effie Mae Clayton. Oscar, formerly of Bay City, lived in Kilgore. Mr. Clayton was preceded in death by his parents, Effie Mae Henry and John Jepsey Clayton; one brother, W.J. Clayton; and two sisters, Etter Mae and Lillian Ruth Martin.
