Diana needs to keep in shape now that she has another great-grandbaby to chase around. Hunter Cash Caraway was born Oct. 3 to Stayton and Jordyn Caraway -- and he lives right next door.

Here is an interesting idea, I never would have thought of myself and I was glad to be included in; a recipe exchange, by which sending one recipe to 20 people, I could potentially receive 36 recipes — if the chain were never broken. So I am up for the challenge and plan to send out my cheater's seafood gumbo recipe this weekend.

+++ Kilgore's next community hymn singing has been

moved to 3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 16, at the Willows Nursing and Rehabilitation Home, located at 1901 Whippoorwill.

David Jones, East Texas Baptist University director of church and denominational relations, is scheduled to lead the singing as Kilgore's James Holder accompanies.

Refreshments are provided by Ana-Lab Corporation and the Willows.

Christ the King Catholic Church has announced the schedule for a church Fiesta, starting with 40 Hours of Adoration beginning 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, through midnight Friday, Nov. 21.

Quermes (food and games) follows at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, with a procession at 4 p.m. and bilingual Mass at 5 p.m.

Mañanitas begin 5 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, followed by Latin Mass at 7:30 a.m., English Mass at 9 a.m. Spanish Mass at noon and at 5 p.m. coffee and donuts follow the English Mass. A potluck supper follows the 5 p.m. Spanish Mass. Hispanic dancers are schedules between Sunday masses.
