LOUISE TILLMAN

Graveside Services for Louise Tillman, 82 , of Kilgore will be ten o'clock a.m., Wednesday, November 12, 2008, at Garland Cemetery in Annona, Texas, with Reverend Charlotte and John Austin officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, November 11, 2008, from 6 until 7 p.m. Mrs. Tillman died Saturday November 8, 2008, in Longview.

She was born on January 11, 1926 in Cove, Arkansas. Mrs. Tillman attended and graduated from Annona High School. She married Morris Tillman on April 29, 1955. Mrs. Tillman lived in Midland from 1955-1963 and lived in Columbia, Argentina, Angola and later lived in Conroe, Texas, prior to moving to Kilgore in 1994.

She was a member of Danville Methodist Church and the Danville Women's Quilting Club. Her church and her family were an important part of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Morris Tillman; parents, George and Nellie Crawford; brothers, Ray and Dewey Crawford; and sisters, Ruby Holloway and Leopal Brewer.

Mrs. Tillman is survived by her brother-in-law, Johnnie Brewer of Kilgore; sister-inlaw, Teresa Crawford of Longview; nieces and nephews, Tammy and husband Robert Welch of Kilgore, Charles and wife Susan Holloway of Callisburg, Texas, Kyle Crawford of Denver, Colorado, Sayla Crawford of Indianapolis, Indiana, Kay Bell, Mike Crawford and Rita Nell Crawford, all of Odessa, Texas; great-nieces and nephews, Marissa Welch, Megan Holloway and Sheena Shelton.
