CONTINENTAL COLOR GUARD
 News Herald photo by KATHRYN PENROSE Maude Laird Middle School students celebrated Veterans Day yesterday with approximately 80 veterans from all branches of military service. Students carried flags from the five branches and a Color Guard dressed as a continental soldier presented the colors. U.S. Rep. Louis Gohmert, R-Tyler, and State Rep. Tommy Merritt, R-Kilgore, were on hand to discuss the importance of military service and gratitude for those in service. |
