Members of WAVES AGO Unit 61 Chapter of Northeast Texas Women Veterans discussed their plans for Veterans Day when they met Oct. 25 at the Elks Lodge. A Veterans Day Rose Petal Ceremony is planned for 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, at Teague Park Lake Pier in Longview. The event will honor female veterans who have passed on in all wars or peacetime duty.
