KPD investigates area vandalism

Kilgore Police Department investigators are looking into another case of racially-motivated vandalism in addition to the KHS incident.

Also on Wednesday morning, racial slurs, obscene language and remarks referencing skateboarding were discovered at the Kilgore City Skatepark.

KPD asks for the public's assistance in identifying the parties responsible for these crimes. Anyone with information should contact Detective Davis Merrell at 903-983-1559 or Gregg County Crime Stoppers at 903-236-STOP. CrimeStoppers may pay up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for this crime. KPD is also offering a $200 reward for any viable information which leads to the identity of those responsible.
