ED MORRIS, JR.

Funeral Services for Mr. Ed Morris, Jr., 84, of Kilgore will be held Monday, November 10, 2008 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Reverend Pat Monk officiating. Burial will follow in the Danville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore Sunday afternoon from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.

Mr. Morris was born April 5, 1924 in Brownwood, Texas, son of the late Ed and Grace Morris, Sr. He passed away Friday, November 7, 2008 in Kilgore. Mr. Morris was a resident of Kilgore since 1949, working as an Operator for Petrolite for over 35 years. He attended Forest Home Baptist Church and was a member of Danville Masonic Lodge #101 since1951. Ed serviced in the United States Army during World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Stella Marie Morris of Kilgore; daughter, Elaine Campbell and husband James of Kilgore; son, Randy Lynn Morris of Kilgore; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Eddie Earl Morris; brother, B.R. Morris; sister, Mozell Ellis.
